Rodent Control in Sarasota and Bradenton

Rodents are everywhere in Florida and there are a lot more of them than us! I always recommend in addition to “rat proofing” your house, that you deploy rodent bait stations around the outside perimeter of your home, as this will keep the nearby population to a minimum. Recent growth charts estimate that one male and one female can produce more than 3,000 offspring in less than a year. In Southern Florida where the climate is very suitable for rodent activity most homes were not originally designed to be “rodent proof”. Quite to the contrary Florida style homes are meant to be open and breezy. Since the typical rat can squeeze through an opening the size of a quarter, this allows them free roaming. Throw in some nearby oak trees or a fruit grove to nest comfortably and your idea of paradise is theirs as well.
